Team Akeula Eulogises Hajia Balikis Olatunji on Conferment of Iya Suna Title

Team Akeula has joined family members, friends, political associates and well wishers in celebrating the First Lady of Oluyole Local Government, Hajia Balikis Olatunji, on her conferment with the prestigious title of Iya Suna.


Hajia Balikis, wife of the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, was conferred with the title on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at a ceremony held at KBK Event Centre, Ibadan.

The colourful event was held as part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of the Imamship of renowned Islamic scholar, Imam Dahud Alawiye, who has spent three decades in dedicated service as an Imam and in the propagation of Islamic teachings.

The ceremony attracted prominent personalities, Islamic scholars, political leaders, community members, family and friends who gathered to celebrate the remarkable milestone and honour those conferred with various titles.

Speaking on the conferment, the founder of Team Akeula, Hon. Akeula Kolawole, popularly known as BARTEZ, congratulated Hajia Balikis Olatunji, describing the recognition as a befitting honour and a reflection of her personality and contributions to society.


Hon. Akeula Kolawole, who is also one of the Special Assistants to the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, expressed confidence that Hajia Balikis would continue to uphold the values and responsibilities attached to the new title.

He prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health and greater accomplishments for the Oluyole First Lady, while wishing her a successful tenure in her new role as Iya Suna.

Hon. Akeula also expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, for his continuous support and commitment to the growth and development of the local government.

He further acknowledged the presence and support of notable political and public figures, including Oyo State APM/PDP Alliance Deputy Chairman, Alh. Wasiu Adeleke; Personal Assistant to the Governor, Alh. Akeem Azeez; Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Glorious; Commissioner for Works, Hon. Mojeed Mogbonjubola; Hon. Popoola Olaide Settle, APM Chairmanship Candidate for Oluyole Local Government; and Hon. Waheed Akintayo, member representing Oluyole State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Teaditional Rulers, Stakeholders in Oluyole APM and party members.

He described their presence and goodwill as a demonstration of the strong bonds of unity, friendship and support among leaders and stakeholders in the state.


Team Akeula also congratulated Imam Dahud Alawiye on the 30th anniversary of his Imamship, commending his dedication to Islamic scholarship, spiritual guidance and service to humanity over the past three decades.
