OYSIEC PRESENT CERTIFICATE OF RETURNS

351 COUNCILORS RECEIVED CERTIFICATE OF RETURNS

The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission on Wednesday 15th May, 2024 present certificates of return to winners of the just-concluded Local Government Election in the State.

On April 27th, 2024, OYSIEC conducted Local Government Election in 33 Local Government of the state.

However, the elections went peacefully without any casualty record

According to the statement, the Peoples Democracy Party won seats in both Chairmanship and Councilorship

Other political parties that partake are Action Democratic Party, All Progressives Congress, All Progressives Grand Alliance, Labour Party, New Nigeria Peoples Party, Peoples Democratic Party; and the Young Progressive Party,”

Giving further details, the commission noted, “certificates of return has been presented to the newly elected Councilors, comprising 351 Councilors in the state
